ANA BĂNICĂ is a Romanian freelance illustrator & cat lover, based in Bucharest.
Her work is, above all, inspired by her personal experiences and fantasies.
She's in love with bright colours and finds the stylization process of any shape, either panther or cactus, simply fascinating. She finds inspiration and guidance in ancient art and sometimes in folk art.

What she enjoys most is illustrating love stories, real or imagined, fantasy scenes with big lazy cats or nude characters in love with summer, living that special mood, before sunset, when everything is warm and quiet.
