DAN UNGUREANU studied painting in Romania and started working in different artistic fields as graphic design, concept art and storyboard for animation movies, or painting. In 2010 he had the chance to illustrate a poem book for children and realized that this is the path he wanted to follow. In 2013 Dan decided to join the MA in Children’s Book Illustration at the Cambridge School of Art, feeling the need to understand and learn more about the subject. In 2017, he published through AFCN the graphic short story “Call me Eli”, in which he tells the story of Elisabeta Moldovan and the children raised in institutions. The diversity of illustrated articles gave him the right playground for different techniques.
